Our teachers have over 75 years combined experience. Each person brings a different energy and approach to yoga, and often different style. However all of our teachers are certified, and are patient, kind, and encouraging.
Rebecca, ERYT-500, Yoga Alliance Certified, Professional Level Certified Kripalu Teacher has been a student, educator, yoga teacher trainer and practitioner for nearly 30 years. Her teaching is deeply influenced by Buddhist and Yogic practices with focus on compassion and gratitude for living each day. As an ovarian cancer survivor, she brings a deep sense of awe, love and respect for yoga as a deep healing practice that has saved her life.
Diana Damelio (Tarika) ERYT-500,YACEP is a senior Kripalu Yoga teacher and trainer. She is the founding Director of Professional Training and a former Dean of the School of Yoga at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, MA. Diana has been practicing yoga for over 30 years, teaching Kripalu Yoga since 1992 and has led countless workshops and yoga teacher trainings. She is a certified professional-level Kripalu yoga teacher, a Level II i-rest© yoga nidra instructor and a member of both the Yoga Alliance and Kripalu Professional Association. Diana brings a wealth of knowledge to her classes and is known for her inspirational teaching style and ability to hold safe and sacred space. She teaches with a sense of humor, compassion and joy.
Lisa Moran Curry
Lisa ERYT-200 Kripalu certified yoga teacher since 2011. With a B.S. in Elementary Education, she has taught more than ten years in public schools in diverse settings. She utilizes Brain-Compatible Dance Education with Anne Green Gilbert in Seattle, and brings her love of movement into her kids and adult classes. Recently becoming a mother has deepened her own yoga practice and she is grateful to share this newfound joy of connection with her students, especially evident in her kids classes.
Susie has received 575 hours of training from Kripalu Yoga Center and is on the 1,000 hour path. She enjoys assisting trainings at Kripalu to expand her knowledge and experience base even further. Susie’s classes explore breath and flow leading to holding postures, which allows the body to speak its language of sensation. It also aids practitioners in traversing deeply into their own inner light of wisdom and inspiration. Susie is a member of the Kripalu Yoga Teachers’ Alliance, a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a retired CPA.
Beverly Fitzsimmons received her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2011 from the Dragonfly-River Rock Yoga School for teacher training, in Ocean Springs MS. She acquired additional training at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, with Judith Lassiter, to become a certified Relax and Renew Restorative Yoga instructor. Beverly shares a sense of joy and wonder with her students. She holds the space for each person to move and breath their way to health and ease.
Amanda is a Bay St. Louis native and Special Education teacher. Amanda’s yoga journey began in 2016. After a few years of dedicated practice, yoga transformed her lifestyle and she is passionate about the connection of body and mind with wellness. She completed her yoga teacher training in 2018 at The Kripalu Center in Stockbridge, MA. She also earned a B.S. in Psychology from The University of Southern Mississippi and is pursuing a M.A. in Teaching Special Education from Mississippi State.
